Tom Charles Kirzeder

My name is Tom Kirzeder.

I was born and raised in Crosby and am a proud member of the Crosby-Ironton Class of 2004.

I grew up working alongside my dad, Jim, swinging a hammer as part of his construction crew. My past 20 years of experience working in construction has instilled in me the value of hard work and fostered my desire to learn more about the building industry.

After earning a degree from St. John’s University, I pursued several careers in construction. I was a crew leader for a solar installation company and obtained experience working with solar electric, air and hot water technologies.  I moved to the Twin Cities area and worked as a project manager for a residential construction company specializing in high-end homes.  I also worked as a project manager for a company that specialized in roofing and exterior projects (siding, windows, doors, decks, etc).

In order to be closer to family, my wife, Marit, and I moved back up to the Crosby area in 2015. We are blessed to have four amazing children - Cora, Emily, Welsey and Charles.

In 2015, I started my own small construction company and have been tackling small projects, remodeling, and building new homes. In an effort to increase my knowledge in the building industry as well as further serve my clients, I’ve pursued certifications in residential energy auditing, residential contracting, home inspection, and now Real Estate.

As I begin to shift my focus to Real Estate, I am excited to use my past experience to help clients find quality homes and navigate the buying/selling process.
